More and more investors and family offices aim to allocate a part of their portfolio toward venture investments. In this Roundtable, we will discuss how investors can further strengthen their approach to venture investing. In particular, we wish to examine how investors can better evaluate founder teams, crucial to any venture’s success. Also, we will cover how to better evaluate a venture’s product-market fit. Our distinguished panelists include New Normal Group’s Aleksander Farstad, Seedstars’s Alisee de Tonnac, and Antler Venture’s Kristian Jul Rosjo, who will each share their unique investment experiences and insights.

Aleksander Farstad

Aleksander Farstad - is an entrepreneur driven by the passion to develop the potential within people and the technology created by then. He is currently the CEO and co-founder of New Normal Group, an entrepreneurial VC, with focus on software and software-enabled exponential companies chasing the new normal of their industries. Educated in mathematics and finance Aleksander started his career in an investment bank before becoming a software founder at the turn of the century. He has spent the last two decades as founder, CEO, investor, advisor and board member for a range of technology ventures, and has experience with investments, team management and business development across Europe, US and Asia.

Alisee de Tonnac

Alisee de Tonnac - is co-CEO and co-founder of Seedstars, a Swiss-based investment holding with a mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship. The group is active in over 90 emerging ecosystems and has made 70 investments to date. She sits on several boards of companies and foundations in Switzerland and abroad and is also a member of the Swiss Innovation Council. She was nominated Social Entrepreneur Forbes 30 under 30, Innovation Fellow of Wired UK, Europe’s most influential women in the startup and venture capital space and one of the 29 Powerful Women by Refinery29.

Kristian Jul Rosjo

Kristian co-leads the Norwegian operations at Antler, where he leads both our fundraising and partnership efforts.

Kristian is also responsible for building the ecosystem around Antler in Europe focusing on partnerships with commercial companies that want to contribute through their services and idea generation towards founders in the programs. He is also working on raising the European funds that invest in Antler’s portfolio companies.

Kristian holds a Master’s degree in business economics from BI Norwegian Business School and Plekhanov University in Moscow. He has previously worked at Statoil Energy & Retail in St. Petersburg, Russia and for the Norwegian foreign service where he served at the Embassy in Jakarta.

Per Lorange

Per Lorange is the Head of Deal Wall and Co-Investment Opportunities at the Lorange Network, and the managing director of S. Ugelstad Invest, an international family office. He is also managing director for a real-estate company, Christiania Eiendomsselskap, and a mentor at the University of Southern Norway (USN).
